BILC
Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh.
Welcome to the Ballarat Islamic Learning Centre (BILC)!
‘Nurturing Piety’ is what we aim for at the Ballarat Islamic Learning Centre. As Ballarat embarks upon a new journey of learning and development, we invite you to be an integral part of this remarkable milestone. We are extremely delighted to introduce Iqra and Islamic Education classes for our community and expect them to play a pivotal role in the tarbiyah of our youth InshaAllah.
The intention behind setting up the Learning Centre is primarily and principally the holistic Islamic development of our Youth, as indeed the Youth is the greatest asset of any community. Through the Ballarat Islamic Learning Centre, we aim to provide a robust and evolving learning environment that encapsulates regional variation and modern methodologies. It will also ensure the provision of relevant support material for students, teachers, and parents while retaining core knowledge and spiritual ethos.
Our Vision
‘Nurturing Piety’
Our Mission
Enabling a learning environment that instils the values of Qur’an and Sunnah — at the same time, developing an enriched learning community that promotes academic achievement, leadership, and Islamic values.
Our Values
A holistic approach to learning predicates our values at BIS, one in which the essential elements of achieving human excellence – in an intellectual, social, physical, and spiritual context – are instilled in our students from the earliest stages. We aim to raise students who demonstrate impeccable Islamic character and exemplary citizenship.
At Ballarat Islamic Learning Centre, we are more than willing to do all it takes to make our classes an enriching experience, where our children are nourished mentally, emotionally and spiritually. This noble cause cannot be actualised without the facilitation and participation of our parent body and community at large.
We look forward to serving you and your children.
